The definition for the word Assume-suppose to be the case, without proof.
Well that's just one of the definitions but they all align with the same meaning.
We as people always assume that we know a person. You can't really know a person without getting the proof for yourself. You can't just go off what someone else gives you. For example, You know that friend that doesn't like anyone else but doesn't know them. Well you owe it to yourself to investigate who the person really is, unless your friend is very intuitive and on point. I say this because it will come a time when someone depicts you as something you're not. The one thing you must know for sure is who you are. Growing up for me, I would never let someone else's opinion about someone be the end all. I needed to see for myself knowing this could go either way. You know when your parents would tell you don't do something and you do it anyway. Well it's kind of like that when we assume about someone without evidence or proof. So you dislike someone over assumptions that might not even be true. You could be missing out on getting to know a beautiful soul.
It's crazy how being aggressive could be considered angry. Well maybe for a black woman it's always attached to anger. Why can't it be attached to passion or a passionate person? My friends that know me truly know I'm aggressive when need be. I'm also passionate about things a believe in. So they either build me up when they can see my point. They can also let me know when their is no place for this type of attitude.
#Just notes to myself....
Friends always show up
When things happen to those we care about, it can affect us in a deep way. Sometimes In ways we couldn't have imagined. That's when you know that you have moved past just being friends. They become family and you care about what happens to them. It's true you are born into a family but you create family wherever it feels like home. It has always felt like that with the girls. Most people don't know that I'm adopted. I must say though you could not tell otherwise. I act a-lot like my adopted family. I even look like them but my birth parents we're young. I don't blame them because I had a happy childhood. What I know is that these girls, ladies walked into my life. I just knew from the start that they we're family. When you know you know, all soulmates don't have to be romantic. We have such a spiritual connection with each other. I don't mean we have to go to church every Sunday. We have some of the same ideas about life. Sometimes we only look to connect with romantic partners in this way. You will need those types of connections in non-romantic connections.
